Black sesame seeds are an excellent source of magnesium and calcium as well as a very good source of vitamin B1 and dietary fiber. They also help lower serum cholesterol levels and relieve indigestion and constipation. Traditional Chinese Medicine recommends the use of the seeds to delay, and even reverse, common signs of aging like loss of hearing, poor memory, grey hair, and poor eyesight.
Directions: Scoop 3-4 spoons of black sesame powder into a cup and stir well after adding boiling water. Glucose, sugar or milk can be added to suit individual preference.
